As a professional Firefighter/Paramedic, it is my job to respond to emergencies and provide medical care as needed. Over the years, I have encountered many situations where the victim's chance of survival could've been greatly increased had a family member or by-stander been trained in CPR or First Aid. In some cases, I've responded to medical emergencies and later learned that a family member knew what to do, but they were "afraid they wouldn't do it right." As a result, QuickStart CPR & Healthcare Education was formed and we began teaching CPR and other such courses as a way to try and spread the word about the importance of proper training. We often find that many students are intimidated by the thought of learning CPR, much less performing it, so it is our mission to teach these important life-saving skills in a friendly, fun and low-stress environment with expert instructors who actually perform these skills in their daily job duties.
